Recommended: Pandora cultural significance in greek mythology

According to "Greek mythology", Pandora was the first woman on earth. Zeus commanded Hephaestus, the god of craftsmanship, to create her so he did what he was told,but he only used water and earth. The gods gave her many skills. Aphrodite gave her beauty, Apollo gave her music, Hermes gave her persuasion, and on and on. With her name, Pandora, meaning "all-gifted". When Prometheus took fire from heaven, in return, Zeus took vengeance by introducing Pandora to Epimetheus, Prometheus' brother. He gave Pandora a jar and she was not to open it no matter what. Forced by her curiosity, Pandora opened the jar, and all evil contained escaped and spread over the earth. She tried quickly to close the lid, but the whole contents of the jar had escaped,
