The times have certainly changed, life would be really boring if nothing ever changed. In the past few decades the phenomenom of the internet and new technologies have gained so much power and importance in our daily lives. The internet had so much potencial that people began using it for fun, and we are all in the same game! Its an excellent way of comunication. If I wanted to, I could upload a video of myself singing or talking about anything in youtube and other people could see it or comment on it. Thats one of the most interesting things about the internet: it needs to be shared for it to work, we are all connected in a way; most of us have a facebook account, young people entretain themselves tweeting and scrolling down in funny websites. Couples that have met in a dating website usually keep the story of how they met on the downlow, they think its a weird case that they found each other that way, but in my opinion it really isn't. One of the problems of this easy access to the web is that we get easily addicted to it, and if is true that young people are always on their phones, tablets, laptops, etc. it would be only natural if thats the way that those couples met. There are sites that are exclusively developed for dates or meeting people, but those aren't the only tools we have to meet possible partners or friends, some sites have the "follow" option, you can see what some interesting person posts on twitter, tumblr, blogger, etc. and they can follow you back, if two people have the same interests it would be logical for them to become friends; it is kind of how most adults make friends outside the internet, after
