On January 4, 1643 in Woolsthorpe, England, one of the world’s greatest mathematician and physicist was born. At the age of 12 he began to attend King’s School, up until his mother pulled him out to become a farmer. Due to his lack of being successful in farming, he was sent back to school to finish his basic education. Later Newton entered into the University of Cambridge, and during his time there Newton became interested in the sciences and began to write a set of notes called, “"Quaestiones Quaedam Philosophicae", also called, “Certain Philosophical Questions" which in time would provide to be “the backbone of the Scientific Revolution,” (Bio.com). Newton ended up graduating from Cambridge with the title of a scholar. Due to a breakout …show more content…

Throughout Newton’s life he has made many great achievements and discoveries in optics, and also became the president of the Royal Society. In his final years Newton’s mental stability was questionable though, and by the age of 80 his digestion and mobility began to falter. One day in March, Newton began to experience serious pain and passed out without ever regaining consciousness. Isaac Newton, one of the smartest men to ever live was declared dead on March 31, 1727. During Isaac Newton’s life he developed three very important Laws of Motion in which have changed our view of the Universe. Newton’s First Law of Motion, also known as the “Law of Inertia” and states that an object will stay in a state of uniform motion until an external force is applied to the object. Newton’s Second Law of Motion, the most powerful and or important of the three, states that F=ma, describes the relationship between the mass of the object and the force needed to accelerate the object (Newton’s Three
