Netflix is a great website/app. Netflix has over three thousand movies and TV shows, and a variety to choose from. The organization is a site or an app, where people can watch movies and TV shows for as low as eight-dollars a month. Netflix has many genres. They even have a section just for kids. Netflix also created their own productions, which they have many Netflix originals. There is also an account setting where many people can have their own page on Netflix. The Company is always uploading new things, so it always updated. Netflix started up in 1997, by Reed Hastings and Marc Rudolph. The company started out being just a web site where one can go and rent movies, in 1999, it became a site where members can watch the movies and shows directly online (A brief history of Netflix). …show more content…

A main section and a kid's section. The kids section is a great resource for parents. It makes sure that everything the child watch is appropriate for the child. The only type of movies allowed on kids Netflix are: PG (Parental Guidance) or PG-13 (parental guidance-13). It eliminates anything that is for adults. It eliminates rated R, meaning anyone under 17 requires adult supervision. Is also gets rid of anything that is TV-MA (mature audiences). Even though it gets rid of these types of movies and shows, Netflix stills leave plenty of shows and movies for kids to choose from. They can still have a wild variety to choose from. Netflix has many genres. Meaning many categories to choose form, they have: action, anime, horror, comedies, dramas, and many more. The more movies/ TV shows you watch, Netflix helps customize your account, to specific genres one is like. So, when one gets stuck on what to watch. Netflix is right there with genres to one's liking, but also specific movies to one's particular liking
