Nayla was 18 when she decided it was time to take her life serious and start dating. As Nayla evaluated her life she started feeling like she was missing out on dating. Nayla was shy and nervous to speak to the opposite sex due to the fact that she was molested when she was younger. As nayla grew older she had a problem with her mate selection, Nayla felt like most of the gentlemen that she dated was immature and was not on the same level as her. Nayla also worried about sexual drive considering the fact that she was just exploring her sexuality. Nayla stated feeling attached to her current partner Shawn who reminded her of her father. As nayla and Shawn relationship progress she started feeling like she was emotionally not attached to Shawn and felt as though she can have sexual intercourse with Shawn without having and deep feeling. During Nayla and Samuel pregnancy Nayla and Samuel began having sexual problems during her pregnancy which was causing them to lose their sexual drive. Another issue that was Nayla and Samuel will face is lack of intimacy when they eventually have when the child arrives due to the fact that they will have to work around the baby time and schedule which can be hard depending on the need of their child. A friend of Nayla and Samuel suggest that they should attend parent seminars that can help them get back to their old ways. One of the theories that will help them get back to their own ways is entitled The Baumrind theory which help with parental styles and look at the clinical and social aspect of parenting styles.
