"Hunter, can you run downstairs and feed the pigs?" I hear my dad calling out to me, but she knew I was more than likely not going to do so. But my ferret was eager to go outside, so I decided why not? You more than likely think it's strange for me to have a ferret, let alone one that lives to sit on my shoulder like everywhere. Ferrets don't stink, they only go outside so they are pretty good pets, well for me anyway. Animals seem to love me, my dad claims it's a "gift" but I think it's just a skill. My ferret was now nudging my shoulder trying to tell me to go outside. I wish it could talk because I've been with it for around 12 years. It's funny how I met her, my ferret. I was playing in the fields behind our family's farm when it just came out of the woods and sat next to me, my dad was freaking out because he thought it had rabies and telling me to get away from it. But, I snuck it inside with me and borrowed a cage from my friend Adaline because her family owned a pet store. My dad soon found out about my ferret but I convinced him to let me keep it. I named him Myril because at the time, Adaline wanted me to name her that. I don't remember much about my mom, but from what my dad told me she was a kind woman who persuaded my dad to buy the farm. After I was born, she got cancer and died. And sadly, that is pretty much all I know about her. So I let Myril climb onto my shoulders and I walk downstairs to the kitchen. "Hey Hunter, I need you to feed the pigs and then can you go out to the shed and get the harvesting tools? My dad said after taking a sip of his tea. It was autumn and I wasn't in school, Why? Because my dad loved me being away from society and decided to homeschool me. The only friend I really ha... ... middle of paper ... ...'s hard to explain and all but I could swear they were made from vines. About 40 of them charged the basilisk and all their blindingly luminescent eyes must have stunned the basilisk because Grath took this opportunity and charged the basilisk head on. "What is he doing! Hel'll get himself killed!" "Don't worry, He'll be fine." "What do you mean." "Just trust me." "Wait, how will a wolf kill a huge basilisk, please tell me." "Poison. He has poison Hunter." "Of course he does. I watched as Grath ran up to the stunned basilisk and jumped onto a rock to launch himself at it's head. With an echoing thunk the basilisk started to um, How do I explain this, it's kind of strange really. It just turned to dust, leaving a few scales of snake behind. I frantically reached for Myrill hoping he was still there and sighed in relief as I felt his smooth brown fur.
" Thanks for your help Violet " I say as I walk up the stairs.
It was my senior year of high school, I was sixteen, getting ready to turn seventeen. It was my senior year of high school. I was not your typical girl wearing makeup everyday and worrying about getting dolled up for school. I did not play sports. Don’t get me wrong, I would get all dolled up if I had something special to do like go to a school dance. I had a part time job at Olive garden because my parents motto was “if you do not play a sport you need to work!” My mom used to say to me “you know Alana back in my time I was not able to work so you are very lucky you're able to work.
Transition: Ferrets may not be for everyone, although they are becoming the most popular pet next to cats and dogs, prior knowledge before acquiring a ferret is absolutely crucial.
I ran to the edge of my door opened it. “Yea, just let me get dressed Dad!’ I yelled back
I was at my Grandpa’s house, letting his dog out. It was a Saturday night. My grandparents were out at a football game because they had season tickets. So I had to take care of the dog, Winston. He was a three-foot tall fox hound and he was tough as nails.

When the end of my 5th grade year had hit; A land mark of the most traumatizing event of my life was about to take place. My mom had left my father and took us along with her. Over the summer and a few addit...
When I was nine years old my grandparents adopted a two year puppy named, maximilian. We, of course, called him Max. When we went to the kennel to pick out a new dog Max didn 't seem like an option. He was a scrawny little puppy tucked in the corner of the shelter. Max was a boisterous springer spaniel mix, and when we first got him he was black and white. Overtime his white fur was masked by black spots, similar to age spots, which made him uniquely mine. Max was suppose to my grandfathers new hunting dog when he was newly adopted. However, at the very first gunshot Max bolted and my grandfather spent a three hours looking for Max in the woods. After the hunting incident my grandfather wrote Max off and, he became my dog.
It was the second semester of fourth grade year. My parents had recently bought a new house in a nice quite neighborhood. I was ecstatic I always wanted to move to a new house. I was tired of my old home since I had already explored every corner, nook, and cranny. The moment I realized I would have to leave my old friends behind was one of the most devastating moments of my life. I didn’t want to switch schools and make new friends. Yet at the same time was an interesting new experience.
My education began in fifth grade, my parents moved from one location to another. It wasn’t easy for me, because school was the first place I ever got to interact with other kids. Before school started, I was pretty much kept indoors and not allowed to have contact with other people, except for my family members.
Her name was Sky;I had other friends. but usually I have one person that I click with the most. We would sit at that table and talk about the most random things. I liked it here I never even thought that I would move...I was wrong. In the middle of my freshman year...I had to move. I really did not like my moms boyfriend. He just showed up in our life’s about 2 years prior and because of that all of these changes were happening. I started talking to my stepmother about moving in with her and my dad. One night my mom 's boyfriend and I got into an argument. I do not remember what the fight was about because there were so many. I do remember him sitting on top of me screaming at me and pulling my hair and my mom was just standing there not doing anything. Well, he pretty much told me to leave so my stepmother came and picked me up probably at 1 am with no hesitation. I moved into my dad 's house. He lived in Dayton, which is about 30 minutes away. My stepmother was working her hardest to get all the custody papers taken care of. She ran into many problems so when they finally got finished my dad said he was withdrawing me from Franklin. This effected my high school GPA and I will tell you why. I only had to go two more days to take my exams. I did not get to take
This was it. I was expelled from the school. My life was over. I didn’t care about my other friends who were with me; they all kind of disappeared away from me. All I was thinking of now was myself and the trouble I was in and predicting what will happen when will get home and tell this story to my parents.
