My experience working in Butik showroom was valuable in a way that it showed me for the first time what it is like working for the fashion industry at a professional level. I wanted to take full advantage of this event and make the most of it. I made a plan to evaluate my work performance every week, make a list of short-term goals, and bring everything together to see if it is helping me accomplish my long-term goals. What I do today can lead me to my future success, so taking a step back and taking a deeper look at what I am doing daily can help me evaluate myself and challenge myself more. After every week or when I finished up a project I would evaluate what I did, what I could have done differently, how I could improve myself and how is this helping me achieve my goals. …show more content…

Sometimes I would set a goal of collecting information for 20 stores in one day, or I would want to get through a work week where I show a lot of initiative at work where I am productive and show commitment to my work. Also, one of my main goals every week was just to simply complete my projects as soon as I could and that they were beneficial. When I would take time to reflect on my week or my project I would think about everything I did in the process and see if there was a better more productive way to approach it. Usually I would be very happy with everything that I worked on but there was always room for improvement. I made mistakes but that is what helps me become better at my job. I am still learning and cannot better myself if I am not able to be open to constructive
