My Experience After My High School Years

During my high school years, I remember myself as being a very shy person. I wouldn’t really speak to anyone, unless someone spoke to me first. Before, I was self-conscious and was very cautious in what I said or did, because I lived in a constant fear of what others thought about me. This was something I really struggled with, and I vowed to myself that I would somehow overcome this obstacle. My life was perfect, or at least I thought it was. I played volleyball, and softball, and I considered myself very athletic. Before, my whole life revolved all around sports, and that’s why my grades weren’t the way I wanted them. During the summer before my senior year, reality hit me. I was about to graduate. I would ask myself “What’s next?” I started to find myself being depressed because I didn’t know where I wanted to go to college, nor did I know what career choice I was going to take.
