Music is an art that combines vocal and instrumental sounds to produce something that gives different emotions to the listeners. Music can make a person sad, happy and romantic at the same time. Playing an instrument is also a music, not only singing a song. I had this misunderstanding that music has the song and the musical instrument included in it. I interviewed an old man who is in his 50’s came for the concert. Before I approached him I though he is a temple faculty but he wasn’t. I introduced myself to him and I asked why he is attending the concert and how is the concert went through so far? He answered that, he is working in a different place. When he heard about this concert he just stopped because he has a Jazz music background. He learned Jazz when he was a kid and after getting a job he couldn’t get an opportunity to practice that. In the videos we see everything in one sequence as we don't know how they break in the music. When we see it is all in one stretch, but in live they are taking their own time to get ready for the next performance. As I described earlier, Jazz music is originated in the African American community in early 1900’s. The researchers say that this music is one of the hardest one to learn among other music lessons. Since this is originated in the African community, the people who are learning and performing are African Americans. In the live performance, the trombone played was an African American and all the other players were other country people. Also in the video the performer was an African American too. In the live concert hall majority of the people were africans because they know more about it than any other
