Due to the human hand flexibility, numerous equipment are operated using hand. The equipment varies from simple woodworking tools like a saw to high-tech devices as airplane cockpit. Although they are highly varied, electronic gadgets are the most widely used hand-operated equipment in the world. More than 63% American adults own and use several gadgets such as cell phone, laptop computer, MP3 player, and game console. This condition makes the lives of American adults, especially the millennial generation, are closely linked with the existence of these gadgets. They use them not only for calling or texting, but they also use them for various activities including going online, sending email, playing games, listening to music, and recording music. As the consequences, the sales of these gadgets never decline since 2006 (Zickuhr, 2011). Nevertheless, the significant progression of the electronic gadget usages apparently has been accompanied by the increasing of musculoskeletal problems in the hands (Andersen et al., 2003).
