Who’s Cheap? Is sneaking food into the movie theater worth being an inconsiderate, rude jerk who shorts the movie theater out of money? Is a two dollar candy bar or a peanut butter and jelly sandwich worth losing your integrity? Is it really worth it? I believe you should not bring food into the movie theater because: breaking the rules on purpose is rude and immoral, without the snack business your ticket price would be even higher, and lastly the snack sales are the main revenue for movie theaters.

First of all, being rude is most easily defined to “offensively impolite or ill-mannered.” Movie theaters are a place to enjoy entertainment and relax. What else ruins your perfect outing or date than someone who didn’t pay for theater food and brought a stinky tuna fish sandwich? Rude and immoral people are looked down upon. Not only is breaking the theater’s rules wrong, but you could be kicked out and banned forever. Your integrity should be worth more than some cheap candy. …show more content…

The lowest going ticket price is six to seven and a half dollars for a matinee movie ticket. For a prime movie ticket, the cost is nine to eleven dollars which is the most popular ticket sold. Ticket prices already are frustrating, but without paying a little more for your snacks, your ticket price could multiply. How would you like the lowest ticket price to be close to fifty dollars?
