Career counselors fill extremely demanding positions requiring an unusual amount of effort to accomplish their mission. The Table of Distribution (TDA) only allows one career counselor position, in every Battalion. The amount of personnel fluctuates between 300-800 Soldiers. As identified above MOS 79S, is currently experiencing a shortage causing an additional workload within a small team of NCOs adding additional stress to an already demanding position. The unique skill set a career counselor possesses are different from any other MOS. Career counselors utilize an automated system called RETAIN. Once a career counselor successfully graduates from the basic career counselor course, they receive access to RETAIN. HQDA and HRC both monitor this system. Only those authorized personnel career counselors have access to this automated system. Ever experienced cheer camp a famous college? Surround by its famous color orange and blue? Well, I did! A tremendous amount of people have their different ideas an exciting experience in their life. Although out of all of the exciting experiences I’ve ever experienced , I would have to say my favorite is when I visited The University of Florida for cheer camp my sophomore year. I was overly excited about spending four days at The University of Florida; I stayed up all night the night before packing and getting ready to finally stay at a college for four days with my fellow cheer sisters. From that experience I learned a lot about sticking together as a team, and friendship! But, most importantly, I learned that bonding together as a team is what got us to finish strong at the end. Those four days really opened my eyes to a lot of different things and I’m glad I can say that I really enjoyed myself.
Being proud of something can have many different meanings to people, but to me, it means to be honored and to be glad that something happened. I am proud about many things in my life but one thing I am extremely proud of is my induction into the NJHS. NJHS stands for National Junior Honor Society.
I’m so happy to be given the opportunity to join National Junior Honor Society(NJHS). I would love to be a member. I think it is important for kids to be involved in the community. Also, myself personally it would be an honor to be a face for our school.
The National Junior Honor Society is a very respected and prestigious organization that I would be glad to be a part of. The students involved exemplify scholarship, leadership, service, character, and knowledge. All of which are traits that are incredibly important in my own life. I feel that each student with the privilege to commit to this foundation should devote some time and effort to those qualities.
As a student in her sophomore year, I am still learning about what I can do and what I want to do. Although I am young, my mother always told me that it is never too early to start thinking about the future, which is why it is an honor to be able to apply for the membership of being part of National Honor Society. I have always loved challenges no matter what the result because nothing is equal to the experience of trying. I take the things I have learned from my past experiences and use them as a guide to help me in the future. I haven't ever once stopped to give up if I encountered an obstacle, but rather embraced it and thought of ways to overcome them.
I would be an excellent choice to be a member of the National Junior Honor Society because I show service, leadership, character, and citizenship. It is an amazing opportunity anyone is lucky to have, and I am more than happy to accept it. I love helping people, being able to feel accomplished knowing I put a smile on someone’s face. Being in the National Junior Honor Society, I’d love to share my ideas and thoughts on how to make the world a better place.
Truck driving is a much needed career to help transport goods across the United States and other local areas. Commercial Truck Driving is the career I choose to uphold. Trucking is a way of transportation needed to keep business going. Trucking has been a part of my family for years so I fell in love with trucks now I won’t to drive my own. This career has a good background, career requirements, job positions, and a good reflection.
As a student at Northvale Public School, I have grown up with my older siblings being inducted into an organization called the National Junior Honor Society. I had seen all the hard work and dedication they put into their school work and activities just to get into this society, making me want to be just like them. Then a few weeks ago, I found a note on my desk in homeroom telling me that I had been nominated to be apart of this society. Through citizenship and character, leadership, and service, I intend on being inducted into the society I have heard so much about. Though it will take a lot of effort this school year, being a part of this society is a dream of mine that I will make sure to come true.
According to the MyJewishLearning webpage, preparations for this event often begin a year in advance with the candidate learning about the religion and families making preparations for those who are going to attend, and culminate in the candidate reading from the Torah, and delivering readings and prayers. After completing this, the young candidate is thrown a celebration as an acceptance into the Jewish religion. This compares with two of my examples, but not becoming a camp counselor. When you are confirmed you must learn about the history of the Christian religion, and go into in depth studies of various events, individuals, and traditions. This culminates in the Bishop recognizing you as confirmed, and acceptance into the Church community. In the Order of the Arrow you must prepare, however instead of a year, the preparation lasts for a day of intense work and learning values. You are received as a member of the Order of the Arrow in a celebration of those who have also achieved the honor. However, becoming a camp counselor differs from a Bar or Bat Mitzvah. You choose to become a counselor based on the idea that you can recreate a similar or better experience for future campers. There is also no celebration for becoming a counselor, you choose to take upon the responsibilities, without expecting commendation or
To begin with, the scoutmaster is the leader of the entire troop. Among a long list of obligations, a scoutmaster’s job is to lead the scouts within the troop, be a positive role model, and prepare them to lead their fellow scouts. Followed by the scoutmaster is the senior patrol leader whose job is to lead the troop as a youth and prepare the meeting plans and activities each week. His role is vital in the troop because he keeps the morale of the scouts high in addition to teaching them to be prepared for life and all that may come their way. After the senior patrol leader comes the patrol leaders. Their duties in the troop are to plan individual patrol meetings, patrol campouts, and report to the senior patrol leader. In the United States Army, there are two categories of rank structure, the enlisted corps and the commissioned corps. The enlisted corps within itself contains leaders, who are referred to as Noncommissioned Officers, or NCOs. These individuals, whose ranks range from Sergeant to Sergeant Major, are responsible for implementing the guidance and command policies provided by the Commissioned Officers and commanders in their units. NCOs are also responsible for the welfare and training of junior personnel. The US Army provides regulations and manuals with step-by-step guidance for the most trivial of tasks, but it fails to spell out specific and concrete information on how to be an NCO.
Being an advisor to the chain of command is extremely important for the Warrant officer. No successful leader in the world has made a decision without talking to an advisor. A great example of this is during WWII, the German were winning the war until Hitler stop listening to his military advisor which lead to the down fall the German Army. There are two types of advisor good and bad. If a Warrant Officer is a good advisor they will give out timely and correct advice, keep relevant with in their field, have a great understanding of the commanders’ intent, and stay neutral. If a Warrant Officer is a bad advisor they will give out bad information, be out of touch with what is going on in their field, and will only looking out for themselves. Junior Achievement is something that I’ve greatly learned from. My experience in the classroom was heartwarming, and informative. The kids were wonderful, and they showed me how difficult teaching will be, but they also showed me how rewarding it will be. From the start of observations, I knew that I would enjoy being with first graders. The first day I was there the students were curious, and asked me various questions. Of course, the students’ being curious was something I expected. I was also nervous to meet the students for the first time. Throughout my observations I was able to watch the students grow and learn from their teacher. I also watched them learn as I taught them from my Junior Achievement lessons. The only downfall of this
