It's unfortunate how society can not rely on media sources to give the truth about current events happening today. Most people watch or read to find out what is going on in the world, but do not necessarily get the truth, due to some channels either not knowing the whole story or base it off what is being heard and publishing it. Most of the articles/news sources actually say or print false allegations just because the news wants to sell or have viewers watch what some are saying even if it is false information. If people pay attention closely sometimes the truth can be found in it, because some may say the same information. Some actually tend to find out the truth about the event that is currently happening and let others know it too. By finding out the real story of things it gives people a better perspective on the current events that are happening and actually knowing the truth can even find comfort in the media. The truth is not being said in the first place, instead spreading wrong information, due to the news anchors and business people wanting everyone to share the same opinions. The media has many different ways of getting information out to the world even though it may be wrong. People these days are not so into the media today so people are more vulnerable to trusting in what the news or the reports have to say. The truth can also be in what is being said, but it may be put off as a secret message where people really have to find what the sources are saying. People can spread the word about what is actually going on, but it is better for viewers to find out on their own. “Using the SMELL test is a very helpful to finding the truth, first people would need to find a source to go off of.” Then the viewer would need to find motivation in order to find the tone. People would also need to find evidence to compare it to other resources, such as the news or other things. Lastly, viewers need to find out what the news casters are not putting out there for the world to know. By using these steps it gives people an easier way to find out what is really going on and maybe would not rely on what the media is saying. Some can use the media to get the basic information and then be able to find out the rest by doing more research. People over the years will hopefully be more independent and find out the story by doing more research and realizing the viewer did not need news channels or other sources, and it does not pin others against each other, because of the one view on the topic. By finding out the truth it can maybe in the future help with world peace and it also gives the people the right to know the truth about what is actually going on instead of other people who know the truth and do not want to tell others what is really going on, but to sugar coat the truth just so that people do not overreact to
