It depends on what type of food you get ranging from a burger, a chicken sandwich, or whatever else their menu’s have offer. As said before, Mcdonald’s is cheaper in the grand scheme of things, but really they tend to be generally the same in price. For example, a Big Mac at Mcdonald’s is $3.99 and a Whopper at Burger King is $3.49. Both restaurants have a dollar menu with different kinds of food to offer. From ice cream to burgers, they both have it.
Burger King delivers quality, great tasting food which satisfies ones need or wants and captures the value of customers even before the first purchase is made. Burger King has products very unique from other competitors such as KFC and McDonalds. The difference is that Burger King does not limit their customers in terms of what they eat. For example, when I spoke to a customer also big fan of Burger King, he mentioned that the sauces are left public for the customer to decide on which sauce to have rather than giving the customer one kind of sauce such as McDonalds and KFC. The cold beverage is also self-help service in which customers can help themselves to a bottomless drink.
Despite all the criticisms people are making on the two fast food restaurant, I think people still love the food. Their fries is the best compared to other fast food restaurants. The menu is cheap and affordable from kids to adult meal. Although McDonald’s is cheaper than Burger King, they all serve similar items with different taste. Here is some of the prices on McDonald’s menu Big Mac $3.99, Cheeseburger $1.29, Quarter Pounder with Cheese $4.6 while Burger King’s run from $4.99 and above.
Although this concept increasingly became famous for its low price and its aspects of social dining, most people are dependent on this method of eating for most of its meals. Most people are aware of its dangers it can have on someone’s health; however, fast foods’ marketing strategies allow companies to maintain it corporate power in the global economy. The most popular fast-food chain is undoubtedly McDonalds. McDonald’s has long been one of America’s favorite fast food restaurants. It has a large selection of meals including burgers, chicken sandwiches, wraps, salads,
Most Americans want to use their time efficiently, which allows them to achieve desirable goals. Fast food chains offer Americans the opportunity to save time. Preparing French fries, fried chicken, and hamburgers in fast food restaurant only takes a few minutes, which satisfies people’s demands and expectations. For example, I often see some students or commuters buying breakfast at a fast-food restaurant when they are in a hurry to go to school or work. Also, when our family has a journey by car, we like to take a break at a fast-food restaurant.
McDonalds wants to be notice more as a restaurant, than a fast food chain, offering more than burgers and fries. They have coffee, salad, and wraps, the color white, even though not as noticeable as the other colors, creates a calm and classy environment psychologically, for one to sit down and relax while they
In the meal, the customer would receive a hamburger, fries, chicken nuggets and a drink. Another company that advertises their cheap prices is McDonald’s. The particular advertisement that I found was for their Filet-o-Fish sandwich that only costs two dollars (Appendix B). The advertising of cheap food is just helping the cheap food revolution. I think an interesting aspect of this advertising technique was that both examples that I found were fast food restaurants.
The company and its restaurants appeal to a broad spectrum of consumers offering fast food at affordable prices. Burger King offers a limited assortment of food products such as flame-grilled hamburgers, chicken and other specialty sandwiches, French fries, soft drinks, and other food items. To sustain future growth, Burger King needs a stronger effort in expanding internationally. Currently, the company is highly concentrated in the U.S and Canada that exposes them to many risk factors. It will be important for the future growth and profitability that Burger King successfully implement... ... middle of paper ... ...these refranchised are willing and able to meet such initiatives.
In just one meal at a fast food restaurant, it is easy to eat 1,500 calories. Many fast food restaurants have tried to offer healthier options, such as salads or grilled chicken instead of fried, but this still is not accounting for the rest of the calories in a meal. A meal usually consists of an entrée, a side, and a drink. At most restaurants it is an option to buy a different side or a larger drink. A Bacon Deluxe Double at Wendy’s is 880 calories alone, then add in the fries and the drink.
Chipotle's food and service are far superior to the huge restaurant chain known as Taco Bell. Even though they are both considered fast food restaurants, Chipotle and Taco Bell serve their food in two completely different ways. When ordering at Taco Bell, you are forced to choose one of their items off their limited menu. If somebody does not like something on one of these items, it is a hassle to have the restaurant take the ingredient off. At Chipotle, however, the customer goes through a quick and simple process in which they are able to create their own meal and witness everything that goes into it.
