The Framers created the Second Amendment to allow states the option to form militias or armies to prevent another uprising similar to Shay`s Rebellion. Since the federal government had no standing military this significant event showed a weakness in the Articles of Confederation. Today, United States citizens exercise this right regularly for protection, hunting or collection purposes; either way this right is extremely popular amongst citizens and gun owners. However, a plethora of individuals have abused the right of owning gun through senseless acts of violence. The more people learn about the violence and crime rates in our own country, the quicker everyone will realize that we need immediate change before there`s a war between people and guns. People who participate in activities that are considered violent normally experienced a rough childhood and/or bullying in some part of his or her education. Humans naturally seek for companionship and acceptance from others because he or she wants to feel loved. If we continue to reject our children in society, then they will look for a fulfillment to satisfy this feeling for attention. In most cases, brutal video games are popular amongst trouble kids. Mass shootings and bombings causes grief, pain, and sorrow not only to the victims’ family, but the viewers as well. Also, there are signs of fear because people may not feel safe anymore. We build a sense of resentment to the world for allowing it to happen and sometimes blame ourselves as if we could have prevented the situation.
