1. Organisational processes, systems and structures Mars, Incorporated is the third private enterprises in the United States with net sales of more than $33 billion. Their main business involves Petcare, Chocolate, Wrigley, Food, Drinks, Symbioscience, and there are more than 75,000 Associates worldwide that are putting its Principles into action to make a difference for customers and the society through its performance. The history of Mars Inc has two major axis. One is innovation, the other is to promote the successful experience of innovation to the world. These two establish the essence of the company’s business. Candy and chocolate are impulsive purchase, the impulse buying rate of them is as high as 70%. They are not like luxury goods that when people consider buying it, the biggest issue could be the price. As for sweets, few customers spend more than two minutes staying in front of the supermarket shelves just for think about if they are going to have this snickers or not. To a certain extent, confectionery products are cheap to afford and they are the best choice when people are not actually hungry, merely greedy. 5.2 Weakness. First of all, as for company internal problem, in terms of the material, with cocoa trees getting older, they are more prone to suffer from disease.
