Mark Wahlberg went from being in a gang life, being a drug deal, being charged with attempted murder at 16 years old. He changed his life and became known as Marky Mark and the Funky Bunch, and now in many young girls’ eyes, he is seen as a hottie. Mark Wahlberg has 4 children Ella (14), Michael (11), Brendan (9), and Grace (7) and he has been married to Rhea since 2009. Mark was the youngest of nine children. He lived in a three bedroom apartment. He dropped out of high school around the age of 14, during which he was in trouble with the law around 20-25 times. He had been dealing drugs and various other offenses. He even claimed to having been addicted to cocaine during this period. Things got worse when he was 16 years old. He attacked two Vietnamese men without provocation. He hit the first with a stick and he punched the second which permanently blinded him in the process. He was arrested and charged with attempted murder but the charge was later reduced to criminal contempt which was a maximum sentence of 10 years. After pleading guilty he ended up only staying in jail for 45 years.

His brother was already famous for being the member of The New Kids on the Block. Mark had originally been a member at 13, but quit before the group became successful. His brother helped him form a band, called Marky Mark and the Funky Bunch after he had worked as a bricklayer and after serving time. Donnie helped him to get a record contract and helped him produce the first record that the group made.
