I have already completed my general education classes, and therefore am able to take more electives, including System and Control, for my senior year. This will allow me to graduate in time with a computer science minor.

Both Dr. Shin and Prof. Mulbaier have given me approval to work on the project while I am overseas.
I will use email, video conferencing, and other networking tools to communicate with my teammates.

This is the same for the Digital Signal Processing class, however, since the class instructor is still TBA,
I am not able to discuss with my instructor before I ask you. Base on what I understand, the class is theory based and most of the lab are done in Matlab. Therefore, I should be able to finish the classwork overseas.
If there is a lab required to use a instrument, my friends or my teammates are able to assist me for such task, and they are able to take notes, record the lecture, and share it with me. As the end of the semester approaches, I will be back to take the final exam and finish the course.

Research My first research experience took place from the Fall 2012 – Summer 2013 in a neurobiology laboratory (Dr. Daniel Plas) focused on Parkinson’s Disease. In this project an undergrad student and I were tasked with optimizing a cellular medium for neural growth of the model organism Lymnaea stagnalis.
