5.2.1 Large classroom. Large classroom is an unavoidable reality in most classes of Bangladesh. Interaction between teachers and learners is the main stair in language learning which is hardly managed in our language classroom. There are some other difficulties caused by large classes as Scrivener (2011) pointed out. For example, students and teachers cannot move easily and the seating arrangement and discipline seems to prevent a number of activities in a large classroom. There is limited eye contact from teacher to student or among students. As a result, teacher cannot give attention equally to all students and interaction tends to be restricted Figure 49. It should be a continuous process where the effectiveness of the curriculum is monitored time to time. A system works smoothly if it is kept under check and balance. Likely, curriculum implementation process should also be supervised and analyzed critically by both inside and outside researchers for its own enrichment. In developing countries like Bangladesh, access to English has been a mark for determining the economically advanced people which should be changed immediately. English should be accessible to all and for that we need to invest more. Besides, we need further research on how the curriculum can work in the most effective and cost-effective way to meet the demands.
