Section 1: Over the course I have learned I have a Jungian Typology of ENFP (Extravert, Intuitive, Feeling, Perceiving). I have also learned that the test says I am a productive person, but there are several ways in which I can improve my productivity. One major way to improve my productivity start tracking my time at work to identify where the time is being wasted. After getting the result back from locus of control its show that I am an internal locus of control. This means that my professional and personal goals are within my personal control, and external factors such as luck play a very minimal part of the outcome. Another test that I took that measures level of stress in a person life, but by answers simple questions about one’s life. …show more content…
• Keep on eyes opening in an area that I could teach or help others in the Information Technology field. • Start using my ability to research for good use and apply for scholarships and grants to finish my schooling. • Get back into designing websites again, or at the very least start writing code again. • Very bad habit of procrastinating tends to put off stuff until the last minute. • Start prioritizing what is important to me, especially my school work and free time. • There are only so many hours in the day, I take on more than what I am capable of handling. • That saying “you’re never too old to learn” I can accomplish much more. if I start listening to other people constructive criticism. …show more content…
Took me some time to think of these two, but also gave me some time to reflect on what is important to me. When I worked at my old school that closed not only did I work there, also ran the Information Technology club or (IT club). Running this club gave me my first exposure to teaching and passing my knowledge to others what a great feeling. There is some area of the weakness and threats that need some improvement, and with hard work and dedication, I think that can be achieved. Furthermore, this SWOT Analysis served as a great opportunity to analyze my abilities and what issues that I need to fix. After further review, of the SWOT analysis again made me realize the importance of higher education, and completing my Bachelor degree along with any certification I want to obtain. Thus, allowing me to analysis what area in my life need and what is needed to stay focus on to achieve my goals. Section 3: Factor Opportunity Threat Political • Raising the income tax in Cleveland from 2.0% to 2.5% the proposal will help cover the multimillion-dollar shortfall. • Unofficial results show that the increase passed by 51.4%. • Along with income tax Cleveland plans to raise the sales tax from 7.75% to 8.00%. • With both increases in income and sales taxes this extra money would help Cleveland improve services and safety.
Also, relieves tax payers from having to support people from various public assistance programs. I believe that the minimum wage should be a raised by the federal to be at least fifteen dollars. The way that the state of Ohio works I believe that people should at least make that much because of all of the taxes that the state of Ohio takes away from them and at least leave them with a wage that can cover many costs of living. However, in the state of Ohio there is a variable income tax rate, which is determined by Ohio state tax legislation. In the state of Ohio the following taxes are withheld from employee’s paychecks. For Example there are many different taxes that many people in the state of Ohio have to pay and they are Ohio Individual Income Tax, School District Income Tax, Fiduciary Income Tax, Real Property Tax, Estate Tax, and Work Tax. Although, the amount of taxes paid depends on the area you live in and what school district you live in and they can get to be
In 1894, an amendment was attached to the Wilson–Gorman Tariff Act that attempted to impose a federal tax of two percent on incomes over $4,000 (equal to $111,000 in 2016).[13] The federal income tax was strongly favored in the South, and it was moderately supported in the eastern North Central states, but it was strongly opposed in the Far West and the Northeastern States (with the exception of New Jersey).[14] The tax was derided as "un-Democratic, inquisitorial, and wrong in principle".[15]
The wage base related to FICA is scheduled to increase in 2014, although there is no tax increase. This increase to $115,500 reflects a mere $1,800 rise in the wage base, or maximum taxable Social Security income.
Money, I bet I have your attention now? Hard working Americans are consistently held down due to taxes. There are many unnecessary taxes that are taken from each individual every single year. The 15% sales tax concept eliminates the frustration and confusion of the different kinds of taxes, and creates more money for the federal government. This concept has been overlooked year after year since its conception. This is a 15% sales tax; a tax that takes 15% of all goods sold and gives it to our government. Be aware of the fact that it is now 7.75%; a lot of you may say, "7.75% is way too much already". The answer to that question is no, no it is not. That 15% sales tax goes directly to the federal government eliminating all income tax in ones paycheck. Imagine seeing your paycheck without taxes taken out of it. It seems almost unimaginable to me; now we can imagine it.
The human psyche is formed by conflict. The mind is in a constant state of figurative war – subconscious antitheses and opposites vying for control of the conscious self. Psychic cohesion relies on the resolution and balance of these opposites. In his essay On the Nature of the Psyche, Carl Jung delves into the conflict within the psychic spectrum. The most base level of the unconscious (he uses the Gnostic term “hylic” to describe it) focuses on the instinctual and the immediate, temporal world. It exists in direct contrast to the highest level, the pneumatic (another Gnostic title), a “supraconcious” wherein spirituality and intellect reign. Robertson Davies’ novel Fifth Business symbolizes this antithesis in the characters of Boy Staunton and Dunstan Ramsay. Boy represents the materialistic, sex-obsessed lower psychic realm. His attitude towards woman, guilt, and mythology illustrate the manifestation of the hylic level of the psyche. Dunstan is the direct counterpoint to Boy. Where Boy demonstrates a fixation on physical sexuality, Dunstan distances himself from any material sensuality. Where Boy only worships a capitalist god created in his image, Dunstan pursues a world of saints and spirituality. Dunstan is evidently a representation of the pneumatic complex. As the characters personify this psychic contrast, their respective failings reveal another crucial concept of the mind. When consciousness primarily exists in one specific psychic dimension, the psyche is no longer complete. The opposite half goes unrecognized. At the end of the novel, Dunstan eventually has a revelation that continues to elude Boy: establishing equilibrium betw...
Carl Jung, a Swiss psychiatrist, wrote about his concept of the "Collective Unconscious." This concept is over innate ideas that humans have that affect them throughout their entire lives. Jung grouped some of these ideas into archetypes. He also believed that human beings have all of the archetypes engrained in them. Jung mentioned four major archetypes as well as many other minor archetypes. He also believed that religion was governed by these archetypes.

Based on the test results my locus of control is external. According to our text, Individuals who fall into this category do not believe that their future is within their control. They believe that it is more influenced by external forces. I agree somewhat with this assessment of myself. Although I also feel that some portions of our lives can be influenced greatly by our own inner desires and motivations. My interests are also centered on the outside world. This is consistent with the description at the end of the exercise. I thrive in situations where I can be around and mingle with large groups of people. I grew up in a very large family and this helped to shape my personality. However, I do enjoy quiet time and occasionally working on my own.
The JTT states that I focus internally on myself; I take emotions, feeling, etc. in via my five senses in a literal concrete fashion. The test indicates that I have this overwhelming “need to be needed” which I do not feel is the case. I am happy to do my daily routine without and sort of interruptions. The test does state that people with my type of personality are "unappreciated at work, home and play. Ironically because they prove over and over that they can be relied on for loyalty and I'm unstinting high-quality work, which people often take us for granted" (Myers, 2013). When reflecting on my own life the quote from Myers (2013) for the most part is correct. I have had many issues at work with doing my job above and beyond satisfaction of my employer, but it has often been other people who take the credit for what has been done. Even though it does bother me I do not care enough to correct the situation. The way I see it is if I am not working anymore and things go downhill the employer will recognize the situation.
The Jung Typology Test is designed to give the participant a 4-letter formula which describes strength preferences of one’s personality type. The formula is based on whether the participant favors Extraversion or Introversion, Sensing or iNtuition, Thinking or Feeling, and Judging or Perceiving when it comes to the participant’s general attitude. One will also receive a Temperament, which is based on one’s personality type formula, and can be used to make somewhat accurate predictions of the participants preferred behavior. In this essay I will discuss the results that I received after taking the test. Having a personality type that prefers extraversion, sensing, feeling, and judging comes with many strengths and weaknesses when working in
The United States system of support for poor families, active duty military members, and public education are heavily subsidized via taxation. Tax policy and reform often impact the city of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The city’s government must increase taxpayers’ wages while simultaneously enforcing tax policies that support social services programs. Philadelphia’s income tax policy is recurrently reformed in hopes of simplifying the tax system. This is a daunting task, however, because the tax system is a deep and complex decades-old code (Hyman, 2014). And due to the complexity of said tax code, the results are losses in efficiency. The Philadelphia taxpayer must, then, weigh their taxation against the use of their tax dollars toward
Through the first two chapters of this course I have learned many new things about myself. From why I am how I am with people to how much health risk my stress level is, the self-assessments have shown me something new in each one. Starting with the first self-assessment in chapter 1,the Jungian Personality test, I learned exactly how my personality works and how I fit into my particular type. I found the reason why I like helping others whenever I can but also have times I seclude myself from social activity is because while I was classified as (F)Feeling type, I am also (I)Introverted. The second assessment, “How Productive are You?”, showed me that while I am organized and this helps my production, I also need to pay attention to my surroundings and make sure I am not working in a cluttered area. After reading this bit of information I realized that my work area is cluttered and this does sometimes cause me to search for a document, making me frustrated at lost time. In the beginning of chapter 2 I took the third self-assessment about
