Now days there is constant disproval coming from people saying that our generation has been poorly influenced and is leading our future generations failure. They complain about how they are always causing so many problems and always getting into trouble. Its very obvious that they are getting into trouble because they have too much free time and they are choosing to waste that time and make bad decisions. Schools that take away the opportunity for sports are no help to this situation. Having students involved in sports have multiple benefits. Students that are involved in sports don’t have so much spare time, so they are less likely to get into trouble. Not only that, but it keeps them active and in shape. Exposing students to extra curricular activities in general have many advantages, so lets think about what advantages are found in students participating in sports alone. Students that are involved in sports are usually kept busy enough to hopefully keep their mind busy enough to prevent them from doing things they might later regret. They also have to worry about taking care of themselves. So that shows that sports aren’t on keeping them busy on the field/court, but they are also kept busy when they are away. Some athletes may focus more on things such as how many hours of sleep they get a night, how often and effective they are stretching, what their daily water intake is, how many vitamins they need to have, and surely their mind is focused on the sport if they are preparing for a tournament or a
