Is going to Mars worth it? I think it is totally worth it. Imagine your name being written in history books, imagine students learning about you in schools, and there are all sorts of things that people will remember you for. Here are three points why you should go to Mars. One point is that, one day we will all leave Earth. Why, you ask? Earth’s resources are running out and we will run out of space on Earth, eventually. Even the famous scientist, Stephen Hawking says,” if we want our species to survive, we need to colonize other planets, because we are going to run out of space and resources here on earth.” And by the time that people say,”let’s go to Mars now…”, it will be too late. But the astronauts are trained with elite groups of people. Mars One are training the astronauts how to use and repair all equipment. Mars One are also training the astronauts how to treat minor and major injuries. They also train them how to cope with difficult problems in a different environment. With this help, astronauts will be prepared and fully aware of what’s going on when they go to Mars. Lastly, people think how the astronauts are able to leave their family behind that easily. Those people don’t know that astronauts can call or Facetime their family while they are in space. The astronauts can text their family members and send them video messages.That way, the astronauts are not really leaving their families behind and they are keeping in touch with them. Now, some people will complain about how expensive this mission will cost. But, Mars One have funds from people and to save money, Mars One uses existing technologies so they won’t have to go build new things. Mars One understands that this mission is going to cost a great deal of money so they use what they have in stock and not buy expensive things.
