12:50pm- IRTC spoke with IRTC, Carlos Fernandez, who reported that there is a fatality case that was reassigned from him to OSI. IRTC Fernandez uttered that contact was established with the source and there were questions regarding the validity of the narritve. IRTC Fernandez conveyed that it appears as if the depicted information was provided to the source from students at the subject child’s school. IRTC Fernandez conveyed that there were no official word of the incident transpiring. 1:05pm- IRTC requested the assistance of Investigative Consultant, John Ortiz, who contacted the 45th precinct and eventually conversed with Detective Erica Price. Detective Price confirmed that the subject child is deceased due to the incident described in the narrative. Detective Price voiced that video footage was obtained of the subject child independently going to the 33rd floor of the building. Detective Price stated that the subject child resides on the 26th floor in the same building. Detective Price indicated that there does not appear to be any alarm system for detecting when the roof door is adjured. Detective Price added that the subject child was pronounced deceased at 3:01pm on 2/28/18 at Jacobi Hospital (doctor’s name: Dr. Blumberg). Detective Price did not have any information pertaining to the medical examiner at this time. …show more content…
