INNOVATIONS IN HEALTHCARE:

Innovation in healthcare perpetuates to be a driving force in the quest to balance cost containment and health care quality. Innovation is considered to be a critical component of business productivity and competitive survival (Zaltman, 1973). Hospitals, research facilities and universities that deal with healthcare have innovated in order to ameliorate their field. . It these institutions that technologies, inventions, process, products, and conceptions have come into the market. Innovation in healthcare organizations are typically incipient services, incipient ways of working and/or incipient technologies [Lansisalmi, et al., 2006].
