From the first time I began writing papers, I had never been to fond them. From the stupid topics that we had to write about to the impulsive “pop quiz” essays in school. Going into English 101 in college I honestly expected it to be just like high school. Boy was I wrong. I had to take this course because it was required so I could graduate, but I am glad that it was a requirement. I feel like I have learned so much from these past couple of months that will help me as a writer in the future. I don’t plan on writing much in my future as I plan to be a cosmetologist; however, if I were to have to write a paper I would know how to do so. As I began writing this paper I thought it was a great and interesting topic. Being the first real paper that I had to write in this class I thought it was going to be a smooth upward climb to an A. However, I struggled to grasp the idea and figure out how to exactly write this paper using the correct wording. I also had a tough time finding the articles that I needed to find for my topic on Alabama Virtual Library. During my process of writing this paper I thought my topic was great however I had a tough time figuring out how to word it correctly.
