Identical strangers by Elyse Schein and Paula Bernstein portrays the life of the twins and their search for information of their origins. Along the way they are told no and have to find other ways to get what they desperately want. The back and forth between the twins shows insight to the minds of both girls but in turn causes confusion on which one said what. They meet others whose stories that reflect theirs. Paula and Elyse also relay the some of the people's stories and the studies on nature versus nurture while sharing their story of discovery of their past.
