Humorous Wedding Speech

Sorry this was written the day of, but I was behind on picture hunting:

12 years ago you entered my world. Today, you and I celebrate our 11th year of marriage. We might have not have had the best 11 years. We fought, and you cried. All more than we should have. I know that young, sassy girl that sat on my desk 12 years ago, is still the one I need and want in my life. You push me to succeed and make me smile when I want to cry. When I do cry, you are there to hold me. I cannot imagine a life without you, nor would I want to. You are my beautiful wife, the best friend I always wanted, and the wisest, and most talented person I know.

Today I would like not only wish you a happy anniversary, but to thank you for putting up with all my crazy for the 12 years we have known each other. I know you did not ask for any of it and no one should have gone through what you have. We fight, we make up, we talk it out. I am working on talking more and fighting less. Without you though, I would have not found the help I needed. You have brought me balance I just need to learn to keep steady.

No doubt they get their looks from you and the crazy from me. Thank you for watching them when I could not, even if it was selfish reasons that I could not. You are the world’s best mom and I still amazed at your skills that have been gifted to
