The Irish War of Independence is not just about how Ireland became a free land but how the IRA used strategical plans in 1917 to 1921. Using all their power to win not just on the battlefield but also throughout history. Although Ireland became a free state in the end Britain also had an outcome because he view from ‘The Irish War of Independence’ nevertheless the British used many different types of tactics, politics, and types of information to try to get as much publicity as possible to win the Irish War of Independence because they did not want Ireland to become there own nation. One main point in the Irish war of Independence is war is politics “The political view is the object, War is the means” (CVC). Ireland was very slow at collecting military and political concerns leading to an aftermath with Britain who also had low political advantages. The Irish War was a guerrilla war against the British government in Ireland. It all began on January 1919 “The present conflict between the opposing forces in Ireland has its roots in the failure of english statecraft and administration to rule Ireland” (Hopkinson 16). Many believed Ireland should have it’s own government and not be apart of Britain. But through trial and error, there was finally a Bill to stay for a limited amount of
