Recommended: Compare the advantages and disadvanges of homeschooling

One of the most asked educational question in the recent times is which between the homeschooling and the public schooling is the best for the students. The debate has been in existence for the last thirty years, and still, the society has sustained the discussion because different worldviews provide contrasting arguments on which is better than the other (Kunzman, Robert & Milton, 13). Various researches conducted have shown that the rate at which homeschooling is growing is alarming but on this essay, we shall analyze whether homeschooling is better than public schooling. Currently, there is approximately 2.9% of the total school population enrolled in home schooling which is a significant proportion in the United States (Kunzman, et. al, 13).
Homeschooling has become a new fashion trend among the many young American parents whose wishes are to ensure that their children receive the best education. On the other hand, the opponents of the homeschooling who prefer public school believe that homeschooling is an extremist belief and always potentially abusive since the kids are isolated (Kunzman, et. al, 23). The child as stated earlier receives a personalized education attention (Lois, 161). Public schools suffer from congestion hence they affect the quality of teaching the kid is receiving. Also due to the hard economic times, various schools are laying off teachers, making the selected few teachers who survive through to be overwhelmed. This means that the child might not receive personalized attention to enjoy the full benefit of education (Lois, 161).
