The holocaust was a horrible and tragic event that happened in human history where jews were sent to concentration camps or their deaths. Anne Frank was only 13 when she was forced to move from her house and live in a tiny annex above her father’s business. Even though she was forced to do this she still said, “In spite of everything, I still believe people are really good at heart.” Even through all the hard things the Franks had to face like moving into the tiny they were still able to go on. Based on Anne’s real diary I would have to agree with Anne’s famous quote. One of the main reasons I’m siding with Anne’s quote is her father’s actions, Mr. Frank when he was very open about letting Mr. Dussel stay with them. However, there are always two sides and I can see how some people might disagree with Anne and I and due to Mr. Dussel’s rude actions and lack of sympathy for others. They already had 7 people living in the annex and were about to put someone else in there. Mr. Frank didn’t even have to think about it though he would have let anybody stay if it meant not getting them killed by the nazi. Mr. Frank could have been rude and thought more about the sake of his family and the Van Daans and told Mr. Kraler there wasn’t enough room for Mr. Dussel. Mr. Frank didn’t even think about what was going to happen when they were going to have to feed another mouth or home another person in a bed. He just wanted to save someone’s life. I think Mr. Frank just wanted to help a man the same they helped the Van Daans. We always want to do the right thing or at least we always should try to do the right thing and that’s what lead me to believe and agree with Anne and her
