High school is all about integrity because you are responsible for your own actions and it’s a step into adulthood. High school prepares you for college. College is an organized group of professional people with particular aims, duties, and privileges. You have to have integrity to go to high school and college. In this essay I will be talking about this. Integrity is the quality of being honest and having strong moral principles or moral uprightness. In school we are supposed to have integrity showing that we are leaders and a role models. As a freshman in high school I look at the older girls to see what I should be doing. In school I shouldn’t lie, cheat or be disrespectful. I should show that I am a good student like following directions, handing work in on time, not talking while the teacher is talking and being kind to others. …show more content…

Because I was honest she said that she would leave the grade and not take off a point. An example of dishonesty in my school life, is when I was taking a test and my teacher told me to go to another classroom. As I walked through the hall I saw my friend. I told him that I didn’t study for the test and he quickly grabbed the book with the answers I needed for the test. I was able to only get maybe eight questions done because we were worried about getting caught but I thanked him and went to the classroom my teacher wanted me to go to.     Integrity is an idea that has been discussed by individuals with a verbal acuity far beyond anything I could ever hope for. With that in mind, I will not delve deeply or poetically into what integrity is or should mean.
