In a modern world many environmental factors greatly affect our life and health. Some of them, like air pollution, accupational hazards and stressors are easy to recognise and therefore people are willing to address them. In this health promotion plan I would like to work on such environmental factor as noise pollution. Exposure to harmfull noises became higher in modern world. Everyday we are exposed to harmfull noises from traffic on highways. During travel time our hearing is affected by the noise of aircraft. Unfortunatelly even visit to the popular rock concerts or sport events has detrimental effect of our hearing. In this age group people not only ignore harmful impact of background noises, but also worsen the situation by recriation exposure to harmfull noises through listening loud music or visiting crowded loud events. (Edelman, 2014) And, because young adults rarely deal with hearing loss due to harmfull effect of loud noises they do not address the issue. In all situations where it is possible, like car stereo, noise intensity will be reduced to the safe range. In cases where harmfull noise intencities can not be reduced protective equipment will be used. Study have showed that protective equipment looses half of its protective properties while used incorrectly.(Noise induced hearing loss, 2012). So, during implementation of this health plan special attention will be drawn to the proper use of protective equipment.

For developing and implementing this health plan I will use Health Promotion Model (HPM). (Health Promotion Model,2011)
I believe that this theory matches best goals of this health plan because it recognises individual as active participant of health plan who will regulate his/her behaviour in order to achive health goal. This health plan is oriented toward keeping healthy hearing and to eliminate risks related to NIHL. The Health Promotion model implyes that individual will configure person-environment interaction in order to chieve health promotion goalsI believe that self initiated configuration of person-environment interaction is essential for succesfull implementation of health
