One might say that hard work along with perseverance are the key aspects of being successful at a task. Having passion for a long term goal, maybe accomplishing a task in which you thought was impossible are skillful examples of grit and the growth mindset. Here are some reasons as to why grit as well as growth mindset can help an individual in achieving academics, along with one's personal life and career. Growth mindset and grit are two things all individuals have used over years of education, these are some ways grit and growth mindset has impacted individuals in academics. These examples demonstrate some reasons why grit along with growth mindset can help one achieve personal life goals. Notably, individuals who have the growth mindset to accomplish something usually reach their expectations, no matter how difficult the situation gets. To add on, this can increase a person's self esteem; making them feel that they accomplished a life task. However, those who have do not have a growth mind set or in other words have a fixed mindset, often find themselves in rush to find what they are looking for in life , school and or work. Grit is as well equally important in dealing with day to day situations. As in, when you have a job interview or when you are trying to impress someone. Many individuals use grit on a day to day basis without even realizing it. For instance when you are being introduced to someone new you find yourself in a situation where you become friendly and often tell your peer some skills or interest you have.
