The Adventure of the Speckled Band; Sir Grimesby Roylott Did Mr. Grimesby Roylott’s personality help or not help him achieve his objective, which was to get away with the murder of his stepdaughters? Dr.Roylott’s personality was detrimental to the success of his objective. In just moments of flipping through the pages of this story, you knew that he had the power, mind, and motive for committing the crime. His personality felt as if he always had something to hide, and was always on his guard. Mr. Grimesby’s personality was deeply flawed because of the aggressive and intimidating character he was presented as. He was known to be a very out of control person, and in addition, his anger has lead him to do poisonous things
