Importance Of My Future Career

I’ve never known what to say when I’m asked about my future career because there’s not only one thing that pops in my head. I know my passion, but I need money to fulfill it. My plan is to go on a “money-making journey” to get to where I want to go. On this journey, I don’t want to do anything that I wouldn’t love, unless I have to and it would benefit me in the future. Although, along the way, I know I’ll have to keep in mind that rewards don’t come without hard work and dedication; which I’m definitely willing to give. Going to college is non-negotiable for me. I am committed to attending Lewis and Clark State College. After high school graduation, I will hopefully be moved up to Lewiston, Idaho in my own apartment. I would like to walk away from the university with a Minors degree in Business and a Majors degree in Forestry.
During this time in college, I will be in my early twenties, where I plan to find my inner peace and figure myself out as a person. Socrates once said that “To find yourself, you must think for yourself”. Boosting my self-confidence and social ability is something I’m looking for in any career I choose. I never want to do anything that doesn’t improve my mental health. Having talking to people, helping them out, negotiating, making your own life-changing career decisions, and standing on your own, are all skills someone can take away from working either one of these wonderful career choices. Someone who can’t hold a conversation with a stranger, or someone they’re not familiar with, should avoid this type of social career.
