Genetically Modified foods are a large part of today's marketplace. Corn soybean cotton and many other crops are genetically modified. These genetic modifications range from inserting genes that allow the use of certain herbicides to inserting animal genes to impact desirable traits. Many large companies and farmers believe that genetically modified foods result in the use of fewer chemicals, cheaper food and more stability for farmers.

Genetically modified foods have become a big part in our life. Mostly 70% of our food in the world is somehow genetically modified in some way. Genetically modified food is the same as any other food everyone eats it for me I have no worries for it because it looks and taste the same as the original food. I’m not against it because they can also add certain vitamins in the fruit that it might not have to make it better for us. Genetically modified food is not harmful it’s making more food for us which is good because without it we wouldn't have as much food as we have now. Nothing has gone wrong with genetically modified food being made for people it's not harmful people seem to enjoy it the same exact way as the regular food there's no difference between it so it's not bad and it helps some countries by it being genetically modified. The square watermelon helps china with it being genetically modified because it's better to pack and it's not such a struggle because it doesn't move as much and it stays still and it is easy to transfer without anything going wrong with the watermelon like it moving around and falling. This would stop kids from starving because they would have enough food and with genetically modified food pesticides wouldn't be a problem if they find away to stop them from harming the vegetables and fruits.
