A variety of movies have boring plots and uninteresting storylines, however they are a few diamonds in the rough like The Freedom Writers. The Freedom Writers is an in-depth perspective upon the rough suburban lives of what seems to be severely uneducated teenagers living in poverty. The movie was set in Woodrow Wilson High School which is located in Long Beach California. The school opened up voluntarily to implement an integrated program which was a major flaw and is severely unsuccessful. All ethnic backgrounds don’t abide by the rules nor get along with one another… The school does not attempt to train or teach the struggling youth the school more so became a cage for students until they themselves dropout or are expelled. The Freedom Writers successfully utilising many aspects that major film industry companies utilise to create smash hit movies, for example the use of suburban music and camera angels to show perspective and the struggle that the youth encounter every day (Fights, use of drugs, and gun violence). The Freedom Writers was written and produced by Richard LaGravenese, however there was three producers, including the following; Danny Devito, Stacy Sher, and Michael Shamberg. …show more content…

Music along with collaboration and camera angels is a dangerous combination as music can portray or impact emotions… The film also significantly uses rendering at chosen parts to formulate compassion specifically received from you the audience, much similar to an oral biography presentation as they seek an emotional response from you.
