The first of these characteristics is my hard working mentality, and I am sure that this characteristic is thrown around a lot by candidates but I believe that I truly work harder than most people are willing to. I have had to earn every ounce of everything that I currently have. Whether it was finally getting into Pitt, or playing football at the DII college level the only reason I have ever been able to attain these achievements is that I put in the time, and worked harder than even I thought was possible for myself, I was never the most naturally gifted person in the world, I had to work hard, or I would not be in the position to even apply for a position such as this. Another thing that I feel differentiates myself is that I have experience in many different academic disciplines, I was not that student that simply took my major classes, and easy classes to get through school. I have taken and have a ton of interest in many different topics such as Political Science, and History. I feel that these multifaceted interests, and course history make me a great candidate for the

Michelangelo Buonarroti was a man who desired to create. His art is impactful, reflects the time of the renaissance, and his growth as an artist. Michelangelo Buonarroti was born March 6,1475 in Caprese, Italy. His father was a government agent in Caprese and his mother died when he was six years old ("Michelangelo Buonarroti"). When Michelangelo was 13 he was an apprentice to a painter named Domenico Ghirlandaio. In addition to being an apprentice, he also studied sculpture with Bertoldodi Giovanni ("Michelangelo Buonarroti"); at 17 he created his earliest sculpture. Michelangelo was an ambitious artist who took on big projects. He was interested in human anatomy, engineering, painting, sculpture, architecture, and poetry (Bleiberg et al. 386-398). “Michelangelo was intensely religious and received inspiration from a deep sense of his own personal unworthiness and of his sinful nature”
Pico della Mirandola was an Italian Philosopher and a humanist. A lot of people would consider Pico della Mirandola an ideal man of the Italian Renaissance. Pico really helped the Renaissance, he made a huge impact on a lot of other philosophers, and a lot of other philosophers influenced him. Pico della Mirandola once stated,“Whatever seeds each man cultivates will grow to maturity and bear in him their own fruit. If they be vegetative, he will be like a plant.”(BrainyQuote). Pico della Mirandola was the biggest influence on Renaissance philosophy because of his book, Oration on the Dignity of Man, his 900 theses, and his religious impact.

A career in law enforcement is a unique opportunity that has intrigued me for the majority of my life. My curiosity likely stems from multiple family members of mine, who either have a career in law enforcement or had one previously. With my family history and my interest in law enforcement, it would appear that selecting an occupation in law enforcement would be a simple task. Yet, I often ponder whether I would prefer to work for a municipal agency such as the San Francisco Police Department, or a federal agency, namely the FBI. I have researched a multitude of factors such as qualifications, requirements, salary, and job description to assist me in determining which profession is the right one for me.
The Central Intelligence Agency (CIA), Army Criminal Investigation Division (CID), and the Naval Criminal Investigative Service (NCIS) are a few other agencies that also employ criminal profilers. Although there are other employers that hire criminal profilers, the FBI is the most prominent. In order to be considered as a potential member of these programs, having an advanced degree in behavioral or forensic science is recommended. However, the most important qualification is an agent’s overall experience as an investigator of violent crimes. John Douglas, a famous FBI profiler, believes that “degrees and academic knowledge [are] not nearly as important as experience and certain subjective qualities” (Muller 250).

All throughout highschool I was part of various teams. Whether it be for sports or school, I learned at a young age how to work alongside my peers effectively. In addition, I joined a police explorers post in high school and was able to learn what it was like to be a police officer and ensured myself that this was the career I wanted to have. Following high school, I knew that I wanted to attend a University where I would get a more advanced educational background while surrounding myself in a much more diverse community. In addition, I started working for the UW Oshkosh Police Department the first semester I got to UW Oshkosh. This department taught me what it was like to work in this setting as well as giving me a wide range of training and experiences preparing me for the job. Through working patrol, and eventually dispatching, I developed many skills. Advancing my abilities to communicate with people and getting more advanced at problem solving are just two of these skills that make me very qualified for this
I meet the requirements for this career as well as have the dedication to pursue my dreams. I believe that all things characteristics are similar to my personality traits and this job requires a leader which is something I most defiantly demonstrate. Described as one of the most commended painters in Italy during his lifetime, Alessandro di Mariano Vanni Filipepi (1445-1510), better known as Sandro Botticelli, was an Italian Renaissance painter and draughtsman. His work is most recognised by his atmospheric style, smooth continual lines and soft pastel colours. From the age of 13, Botticelli became an apprentice under Filippo Lippi, an acclaimed Florentine master at the time and from this, received a fuller education than any other Renaissance artist. His early works primarily focused on the popular subject of Greek Renaissance art, the human body, his most notable works including his 1482 piece The Birth of Venus (1485) and Venus and Mars (1483). His 1482 tempera panel painting, Primavera
As managers, one of the biggest challenges we face on a daily basis is that of actually managing our people. One common challenge we discovered among our group was the difficulty of hiring the right people for the right job. Not only does one have to define the technical skills necessary to perform the job, managers need to determine which type of behavioral skills the new hire must possess in order to fit into the dynamics of the existing team. The latter is much harder to identify. Finding the right personalities that will work well and compliment your existing team is critical. Personnel Decisions International (1999) explains, when hiring people it is important to determine the most important competencies for the organization as well as the position. The involvement of management in articulating the behavioral expectations of the new roles is critical.
Hiring the right person for this position means finding the individual who is able to deal effectively with people and solves issues quickly and correctly in what is often a chaotic environment (Mooney, n.d.). The selection process can be tedious and lengthy, as you want to ensure that you use the right methods to evaluate potential candidates. Due to the nature and complexity of the job, the following methods would be used:
