I was averaging around 2,671 calories a day for four consecutive days. By doing this food log, I have learned that I do not eat the healthiest and I should probably start eating healthy. I should also try taking some vitamins so that I do not have to eat as healthy and I can still get some nutrients. I could try eating more fruits and vegetables every day. This percentage isn’t bad, however, I believe that I should increase the protein intake in my diet. It is essential to eat protein because the body uses it for essential functions, such as repairing tissues. Afterwards, I realized that only 48 percent of the calories in my diet came from carbohydrates. Once again, this percentage isn’t bad, however, I do believe that I need more carbohydrates in my diet because it provides energy to the body.
