GODLY COMMUNICATION God wants us to have good communication skills. The scriptures below are just some of God’s guidelines he has provided for us. Good communication is more than just mere words. Good communication consists of verbal, nonverbal, listening, and written words. God is in our hearts. Love for God is in our hearts. What is in our hearts is shown by the words we speak, the words we write, the way we listen to others, and our nonverbal skills too. MATTHEW “You will be ever hearing, but never understanding: you will be ever seeing but never perceiving. God is trying to warn us of speaking and acting out of anger. Speaking in anger promotes anger. MISCELLANEOUS SCRIPTURES These are a few more scriptures inspiring good communication. “May these words of my mouth and this meditation of my heart be pleasing in your sight, LORD, my rock and my Redeemer” (Psalm 19:14, NIV). “The mouths of the righteous utter wisdom and their tongues speak what is just” (Psalm 37:30,
