Everyone must take responsibility

The American education system is heavily under pressure. The Globalisation has changed the American society dramatically. Throughout the last decades many, especially low-skilled jobs, have been outsourced to foreign countries. Many low-skilled American workers are simply no longer able to compete with the cheap labour in foreign countries such as China or Bangladesh. As a consequence of the increasing globalisation, the American society has throughout the last decades increasingly focused on education. Even though the American politicians and the society as a whole are aware of the importance of education, the American education system is facing a lot of challenges. For example are many young people, especially from low-income families, not getting beyond high school when it comes to education. Furthermore there’s often a mismatch between the skills the young American people have acquired and the skills the employers demand. Both the American politicians and employers agree that the American education system needs a reform in order to accommodate present and future challenges.

The bad state of Nowadays American education system is broadly caused by lack of responsibility from several parts. A lack of responsibility from parents, teachers, government and especially the students themselves has led to many of the challenges the US is facing today. First of all the American youth needs to understand the importance of education. The youth must understand that a good education is the best foundation for a good future. They should tell their life stories in order motivate the youth. Additionally they should they also make clear that success don’t come without hard work and that it is ok to fail, as long as you don’t give up. The American education system and society as a whole can only be improved when everyone is taking his/her responsibility seriously.

The American society stands before great challenges in the future. The education system is in decline and has to be reformed. The responsibility for the change of the American education system and the society as a whole lies on the shoulder of all American citizens. Everyone must take responsibility. You have to take responsibility, whether you’re a parent, grand parent, teacher, politician and last but not least especially if you’re a student.
