Zodiac Killer Between the late 1960s and early 1970s, northern California has been terrorized by the notorious “Zodiac Killer”. “I like killing people because it is so much fun. It is more fun than killing wild game in the forest because mn is the most dangerous animal of them all,’ said the Zodiac Killer. The cold hard truth is that the identity of the Zodiac Killer remains a mystery to this day. To be the Zodiac Killer, this person had to be clever with his word. Everything he says is a puzzle on its own. Ciphers and an array of symbols hide his identity from the public. The main suspects were Lawrence Kane, Arthur Lee Allen, and Rick Marshall. Lawrence Kane was a prime suspect due to his nature of fitting as the descriptions of the Zodiac Killer. His height and weight resembled the Zodiac Killer very well, unlike the other suspects. Arthur Lee Allen was seen as the killer mainly because of odd nature of a person. He always seemed like he was near the killings when they occurred. He was also known to where a Zodiac watch and made many references to making bombs. The last suspect was Rick Marshall. July 4th, 1969, around 12 am, Mike Mageau, and Darlene Ferrin, and are approached with a flashlight. Ferrin and Mageau were inside a parked car at Blue Rock Springs Park, when a someone parked a car right behind them, blocking them from leaving the driveway, A man came out of the car with a flashlight, blinding the victims. The Zodiac Killer then took five shots into the car before fleeing the scene. Shortly after leaving the scene, Mageau began screaming, thus leading to the Zodiac Killer to come back.
