Lots of parents think they have enough reasons for having a child, but do parents need children to satisfy themselves, to dedicate their love to him/her, or to train a good, useful person for the society they’re living in. Children are not toys whom whenever parents feel tired of them, just throw them away. They will grow up and will be parents someday. Children need to be supported. Not with neighbors, babysitters, friends, but with parents.
Remember that child shouldn 't feel guilty for wanting to see the other parent, so let them enjoy those visits as best as they can. Parenting may be hard to give explain for the child to understand why this child has a single parent. It could be a Death or Divorce or Left family? Not many children to understand why this parent left the child for: new partner, don’t have jobs to raise a child, or other don’t care about children. Controversy over the idea that both parents should assume equal responsibility in raising a child has become a heavy topic in America due to the belief that missing one parent can affect the child emotionally because of the lack of family structure. Therefore, having two parents in one household assuming equal responsibility in raising a child does not always advance the child’s education level, decrease emotional stress, and enhance financial support. First, being in a single parent home may affect the advancing of the child’s education level by placing the child with the parent they do not favor which may affect encouragement to be successful.
A child is heavily impacted by the single parent he/she was raised by. Whether it is negative or positive, it is the parent’s responsibility. We know there are more troubled children in single-parent households, but single-parenting as a whole should not entirely be looked at negatively. Although it may be difficult to get through the hardships especially for young children growing up, it is the parent’s ultimate job to ensure that their child is getting the healthy and happy lifestyle they need to take on the various factors that come along with single-parenting.

Single-parent families are commonly targeted for controversial issues. We must be careful that we don’t stereotype these when they’re very hard to take care of themselves and their children.
