Imagine an innocent young woman crossing an intersection to get to work. All of a sudden a car comes flying out of nowhere and hits her head on. She later dies. What if all that was avoidable? What if you could’ve prevented her wrongful death? Would you? All of that could’ve been avoided if the person driving the car simply slammed on the brakes, or noticed the woman crossing and avoided her.
