Personality Testing Evaluation The world we live in is full of interesting and diverse people with lots of differing personalities. We are all different for good reasons and the differences shape who we are as individuals. Personality testing has always been particularly interesting to me, because I appreciate the explanation for the reasons we act the way we do. I found several interesting facts about myself through the personality testing offered in the Jung Typology Test. In this essay, I will discuss my results from the test along with analysis and my evaluation based on the scores I received. I logically try to process all my thoughts and balance my decisions based on both, my score suggests that. I try to leave my emotions out of my decisions and stick with what I know or think that I know. I also heavily believe that many decisions become situation specific and may warrant different processes. My score represents room to balance off one or the other and still have an equal balance. I do appreciate the explanations the test had to offer and this part of the explanation really stood out to me, “INTJs are known as the "Systems Builders" of the types, perhaps in part because they possess the unusual trait combination of imagination and reliability” (Butt & Heiss, n.d.). I have always had the ability to critically think in high-stress situations and I am usually strong with tough situations. INJT’s are very honest and hardworking individuals and this describes me well, in my opinion.
