Motivation, who motivates you? Is it your parents or is it someone you admire? Or it could also be someone that motivates people for a living. My inspiration through the tough times in high school, through my SATs, through my regents, my finals, and my college application process was Eric Thomas. “When you want to succeed as bad as you want to breathe, then you will be successful”

That was the quote that got me inspired, that was the quote that made me think of life in a new perspective and made me push myself to work harder towards my dreams making them into a reality.

Who is Eric Thomas? That is what most of you might say when you hear the name.

Eric Thomas grew up in Detroit, Michigan. He was a high school drop out in his senior year and his mother kicked him out of the house. Because he was homeless for two years he knew what it was like on the streets. He had to dig through trash for food and that was the lowest point in his life. A preacher was the person that made him turn his life around. This preacher inspired Eric Thomas to go back to school and inspired him to get his life back.
