Recommended: Traditional media in current society

Technology has revolutionized very quickly over the past few decades. Traditional forms of media like television and newspaper are losing popularity among the newer generation because there are other mediums of media that are portable and contain much more information in one place. One of the main reason for the decline of traditional media is the expense, when various other modes of media offer a cheaper option. For Disney to succeed, Disney needs to offer streamlining videos, movies incorporating new forms of technology and update the amusement parks.
When watching television, viewers are forced to clear their schedule to make time to watch a show when it is being broadcasted. With our busy schedule, it is impossible to set some time apart just to watch a show. With the internet, we are able to watch videos on demand and watch shows on portable devices.
