Educational success could mean so many things to me. There are so many ways that I could express how my education is important and the success that follows it. In order to succeed with my education I plan to set goals, learn the importance of maintaining my time, and taking advantage of any opportunities that come my way. Educational success is so important I am willing to put as much time and effort as I can. I hope to learn how to manage my time better than I have in the past. I am hoping to be involved in many extracurricular activities while also having a job and attending Northeastern. With a packed schedule comes having my priorities straight. I want to have great self control to the point where I don't allow myself to have extra free time if I know there is class work I need to do. I'm not saying I'm always going to be busy doing work and not doing anything else. I just want to be able to take control of my future to make sure I get where I want to be. I will make sure that I take extra steps to help me succeed, always ask questions when I am unsure and to use my resources wisely. I am sure that while attending Northeastern I am going to have a great chance of meeting my own expectations. While having my priorities straight I want to work on not procrastinating on my work. As a senior in high school my procrastination level has become excessive. I want to make sure that I meet a lot of important connections and even mentors who can support me through my college journey. I want to be able to take any chances that are open for me and not be hesitant about them. It's very important to me that I make use of time and participate in things that could possibly lead me to new opportunities. Taking on new opportunities is a must because change is great and there is no need to constantly be doing the same things when there is other things to take on. I want to have have opportunities where I can work with high school students who are really wanting to attend college but do not have the resources or knowledge to proceed. I know that with the help of Northeastern I can achieve that while being involved with the community. There are so many opportunities that could come up if I just show initiative and how involved I really want to be. I also hope that I get involved in the TRIO program at Northeastern and hopefully it becomes a good support system for me. There are so many great opportunities I could get at
My main goal is to get an athletic scholarship. I won't be able to get one though if my grades aren't good and I can't have that happen. Education will be able to help me continue to do what I love. I plan to keep doing what I am doing in school so I can leave Freeburg knowing I am set for the next few years in my academic and sports filled life.
It is easy to forget that a huge part of your success in college is staying healthy, keeping a sharp mind and sound body. It is very important to eat right and to maintain a routine sleeping schedule. Staying active and making sure you get enough sleep so that you can keep yourself healthy. A recent study found that walking once a day increase your memorization, which in turn helps you to do better studying.

Success isn’t given, it’s earned on the track, on the field, and in the gym with blood, sweat, and the occasional fear” -Unknown. This is relevant because it is hard for students to want to play sports but also to do well in school. If high school students can’t find the time to keep their grades up or to keep a certain GPA, they should not be allowed to play sports. Students need to prove themselves to be able to play any sport and still be able to do well in school. Also, having good grades shows the coach maturity and may earn them more playing time if they are working hard in school and in practice.
I have always been a straight A student, so my number one academic goal is to maintain that streak all though college. Another goal of mine is to finish my core classes early so I can have a bump free senior year. By taking Dual credit and classes throughout the summer I can reduce my workload later on in the future. Everyone wants to better themselves in life…right? No one wants to graduate high school and be stuck living with their parents or only make minimal wage. There are plenty of ways to have a better life, one in which is attending college. If a person attends college, they have a more likely chance of making more money, being more successful, and securing their future financially. Going to college not only leaves someone with better opportunities but it can instill in a person responsibilities, persistency and work ethic. All of these things are important unless a person is born into a rich family and are automatically given a job, the rest of civilization has to work and that is where college comes into play.
My my personal goals are to get a 27 on my ACT, have a above a 2.8 GPA, and get a basketball scholarship to ORU. I need to jump into college with alacrity.I plan on reaching these goals by working hard and really focusing in all of my classes every single day and making sure I make enough time in my week to study for all my tests I take. Even if I have antipathy for a class I still need to be inquisitive and ask questions.
The final focus I have, but certainly not the least, is to be successful in my endeavors throughout college. Seeing how much my parents cared for me by seeing them work as hard as they could just so my siblings and I could live a better life gives me all the motivation in the world to work as hard as I can to not only give back to them, but for my future children to live an even better life than I am. The lessons I have learned in my life from both my parents and life experiences have fully prepared me to excel in college. Being a part of honors classes and taking multiple advanced placement classes, I believe I am very ready for the workload to come ahead.
I’m a student at Tompkins Cortland Community College this is my first semester as a college student. I plan to go to college for four years and only be at TC3 for this one semester, then transfer to a four year school. College has grown around the world more than ever and more people are attending college more than ever. I have chosen to go to college because of the rewards after graduation. Yes it is another four years of school but by getting more education and an extended degree gives me more opportunities for better jobs and more money. The career I have chosen to study is business administration. I am hoping that it takes me to a great job managing a company or possibly being an accountant.
College is the main goal of my life. It is a life dream to go to college to get a degree and get a successful job. Everything that I have done until this point is to get to college. During my senior year I plan to apply to many colleges and to take the SAT's to get into college. My GPA and SAT scores will be crucial for me to get into college. With college I will further my business career, making more successful in the field I enjoy doing.
First off, I want to graduate from college and do it well. I want to be able to do things on the weekends and not worry about having to make things up or anything like that. I am hoping for a scholarship in football, in my opinion that would be a great start for me in college. Then after college maybe pursue that as a career. If that doesn't work out for me then I want to look into athletic training or physical therapy. If those things don't interest me or I don't get into it I am then looking into law. That will take much more time and patience, but it's gonna be the rest of my life.
The next set of goal setting importance is my personal goals with the first being to over come the obstacles associated with returning to school.
As I am preparing for a new chapter in my life, I have put a lot thought in about what I want out of life and what to look forward to as I get older. In order for one to achieve anything, they need to set goals to reach for. I have a handful of goals for my future, short term and long term, that I will actively work towards in my college years and beyond. Being a successful student and achieving continued academic success is fundamental in order to complete an associate degree and become a successful professional. College is challenging, but it can be a rewarding growth experience and easier when setting up goals. Having educational and career goals helps students keep the focus and motivation. Besides, having knowledge of different learning styles can help students learn about themselves and increase efficiency while studying. Writing skills learned in college are also a powerful tool for both academic and career success. The campus is a great place to find tools to succeed and achieve continued academic success. It is also important to keep academic honesty as a good habit and as a value of integrity throughout college and later on in the professional environment.
