On November 12, 2015 Donald Trump gave a speech in Fort Dodge at a community college. In this speech he talks about borders in the United States and how we have such relaxed borders compared to any other country, where you get fined a lot of money, prison time or even killed for crossing their borders illegally. While, in America you get a job, healthcare, and education, Trump believes that 's why we are in debt. Illegal immigrants, also can have babies in America and they automatically become legal citizens and Donald Trump call them "anchor babies". In this speech he also mentions his cufflinks, shirt, and cologne that are sold at Macy 's, also his amazing book called Crippled America. He marketed his products over five times in this speech that is only an hour and forty minutes long. He mentioned himself being basically a genius four times, claimed even the geniuses at Harvard don’t know as much as him. That’s about once every eleven minutes he talks about himself or his products in a presidential speech about making America great. When he wasn’t talking about himself or his products he was talking about getting rid of immigrants. Getting rid of immigrants is counterproductive, our founding father knew the importance of it, diversity is important for all large or small companies. Diversity in the work place is one of the leading causes of innovation in United States’ companies (Hewlett, Sylvia Ann, Melinda Marshall, and Laura Sherbin). Some of the largest companies in the United States are also on the list of fifty most diverse work places in America, companies such as AT&T, Kellogg’s, Master Card, Wells Fargo and many more huge companies, coincidence I don’t think so. Innovation leads to economic growth, competitive advantages, and is an in important factor for businesses to thrive. With diversity in the work place everybody comes with their own way of looking at things which brings new ideas, thoughts, and process which increase productivity.
