Is a bigger penis always better? When most people hear such question they either immediately or eventually think about penis size, and a more direct question that many men and women want to know is, does the size of ones really matter?
The fact is that sometimes the size of the penis matters, sometimes it doesn't. There are those of us that are unique when it comes to our personal tastes (affectionately known as size queens), but others are different. * Several studies have asked men to evaluate the size of their penis, compared to "normal" and then have actually measured their penis size, have shown that most men underestimate the size of their penis, and overestimate what is the average penis size.
* Studies have also shown that men tend to compare penises in a manner that is likely to lead to a negative evaluation (for example, they compare flaccid penis to an erect penis).
* A study of men who were looking for penis enlargement surgery, found that most of the men had penises that were of average size, despite the belief that they had abnormally small penis. It seems that from the research we have, men think about penis size more than women. Which begs the question as to why the guys worry and talk about penis size so
